Technical Services Manager (Cement/Concrete)
Location: Denver CO
The Technical Services Manager will oversee the quality control and assurance processes related to concrete and cement production. This role involves ensuring that all operations meet industry standards and best practices, while also improving processes to enhance efficiency and safety. This role works closely with cement operations and logistics teams across the US and Mexico Divisions.

Base Salary: $145k-$185k+ (Depending on experience)
Bonus: 18.75%
Relocation: $25k
Position OverviewThe Technical Services Manager will oversee the quality control and assurance processes related to concrete and cement production. This role involves ensuring that all operations meet industry standards and best practices, while also improving processes to enhance efficiency and safety. This role works closely with cement operations and logistics teams across the US and Mexico Divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the quality control and quality assurance efforts for concrete and cement products.
- Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor product quality and adherence to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to optimize production processes and implement improvements.
- Serves as the intermediary between sales and production teams on plant quality matters
- Analyze data related to product quality and performance, and prepare reports for management.
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. (experience in lieu will be considered)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and assurance, technical services engineer or similar in the concrete or cement industry. Ready Mix Preferred!
- Strong knowledge of concrete and cement properties, as well as quality control methodologies.
- Experience with process engineering and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with MSHA regulations and safety standards in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 35%-50% travel
