Ready Mix Driver - Calportland

The Ready-Mix Driver is responsible for safely transporting freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to job sites. This role includes making routine adjustments to equipment and materials. We seek a candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.

$29.00/hour

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections
• Deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites
• Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely
• Clean vehicle and remove concrete buildup
• Communicate with company personnel via radio
• Report incidents/injuries to management
• Attend scheduled safety meetings

High School Diploma/GED

• Current Commercial Class A or B driver's license with airbrakes and tank endorsement
• Safe driving record (DMV H-6 printout required)
• Current DOT Medical Certificate
• Ability to read maps and follow GPS instructions
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
• Flexible schedule with potential overtime, weekends, and nights

Preferred:

• Experience in ready-mix or heavy construction
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience

Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background check. Some positions require ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
