Job Overview:
The Reach Truck Material Handler plays a critical role in our warehouse operations, focusing on loading and unloading materials. You will use various equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks, and conveyors, to manage the movement of goods within our storage facility. This position also involves maintaining accurate records and helping train new team members.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of work
- Operate different types of material handling equipment, including Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, High-Lifts, and Forklifts
- Unload incoming shipments and check for order accuracy
- Prepare and stage orders for outbound shipments
- Verify outbound orders for accuracy
- Load trailers with products for delivery
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Your Profile / Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience operating Reach Trucks
- Familiarity with RF Scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or SAP
- Ability to read and write in English
- Good math skills
- Experience handling chemicals is a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
