Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior - Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Responsible, reliable and respectful
- Enjoy working with children
