Range and Target Activities Director

● Provide oversite, guidance, and management shooting venues to their highest and best use

● Assists director in tasks and responsibilities

● Subject matter expert in two or more shooting disciplines

● Ensures team maintains all equipment

● Knows effects and risk estimate distances for all munitions

● Controls movement of small teams in order to provide program and complete range tasks

● Ensures range safety procedures are followed

● Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work are

● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership

● Abide by policies and procedures outlines in the SBR staff handbook

● Required: 21 years of age or older

● Required: NRA Certified Instructor (Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun/RSO minimum) (Training Provided)

● Preferred: 2+ years Summit Employment Experience

● Preferred: 2+ years equivalent military/LE experience

● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination

● Be or become a registered member of Scouting America

● Develops and maintains team cohesion during the season

● Mentors team members in professional development and technical aptitude

● Gives constructive feedback for all team members

● Long periods of time either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
