Rail Services Warehouse and Procurement Supervisor from System One

Primary Job Location: Landover Hill, MD

Employment Format: Full Time/On site

Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing purchasing and logistic services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. Additionally, this position will control warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from production to warehouse to shipping.

Responsibilities:

· Determines product needs by monitoring production; loading and moving product

· Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database

· Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems

· Managing and tracking of NCR (Non-Conforming Returns) material with suppliers including export and import.

· Manage importing and exporting shipment custom clearance and coordinate importing freight management

· Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries

· Create and keep track of all needed purchase orders

· Requisition, Purchase Order and Invoice matching ensuring the company purchasing and supply protocols are kept

· Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases

· Monitors inventory by completing counts as required

· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

· Maintain records/record systems using the company’s systems

· Provide administrative support to ensure that municipal operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.

· Other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

· High School Diploma / GED

· Experienced in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

· Ability to work in a workshop, high pressure environment

· Must be self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills essential for day-to-day operations

· Must meet commitments and track daily tasks

· Ability to work effectively within a team

· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Recommended:

· 2 to 4 year degree in Accounting/Logistic or equivalent experience preferred

· Ability to understand Technical Documentation: drawings for example

· Understanding oral and written Spanish highly desirable

Notes:

• Salary: $80,000 - $104,000
