Shriners Childrens’ Chicago is looking for Radiology Technologists, Full-time, and PRN to join our Hospital Team. Full-time M-F days, PRN to include all shifts and weekends On Call Consulting activity.
Radiology technologists are medical personnel who perform diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy.
Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
• Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
• Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
• Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
• Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
•Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.
Associates Degree with one year relatable experience.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
