The Union Hospital Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Casual Parl-Time Rad Tech to work the day/evening shift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
- Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties
- Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
- Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
- Burn patient CD’s
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science
- RT Technologist experience preferred
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Maryland license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
