About the Job
Radiologic Technologist who will work along several orthopedic providers, performing complex professional procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will obtain high quality radiographs, obtain patient vitals, medical history, and document in Epic proficiently and efficiently. Assist with every day functions within the office to provide assistance to providers and great customer care to patients.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Competent in the use of general radiographic equipment and procedures
- Competent in obtaining a medical history and proper documentation in Epic
- Completing prior authorizations with insurance companies
- Communicating between providers and patients
- Completing prior authorizations with insurance companies

- Completion of formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved School
- Must have met ARRT registry requirements and be currently registered and hold an active state license in Ohio
- Must be able to maintain accurate records and adjust to use of new methods, techniques, and equipment
- Be able to cope with stressful situations and handle deadlines in a demanding, fast paced medical environment
- Able to move from exam room to exam room and tolerate prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer
- Must be able to move, lift, or carry light objects frequently and move with assistance very heavy materials and/or patients occasionally
- Must be able to work autonomously unsupervised and have excellent customer service skills
- CPR certified
- Must be able to do wide variety of duties as assigned beyond completing radiographic exams
- This position will also register patients upon arrival.
