Essential Functions

• The staff must demonstrate the ability to assess patients' status and identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age specific needs.
• The Radiologic technologist assists in the acquisition of patient history and entering into Hemodynamic system and/or EMR.
• Prepping patient and attaching leads, Defibrillator Pads, BP cuff and setting up the sterile field.
• Assisting the Physician at the table maintaining sterile procedure. Responsible for availability of supplies and equipment keeping in mind fiscal responsibility.
• Responsible for all duties related to Radiation Safety and Protection.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Other Accredited Program Radiologic Technology Program or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Program. Required

• Experience with pacemaker insertions Preferred and
• Experience in the Scrub position. Required and
• Special Procedures experience Preferred and
• Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab or Electrophysiology Lab experience Preferred and
• Advance EKG recognition course experience within 1st year of hire. Required

• Demonstrating proficiency in arrhythmia recognition Preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Required
• Team player Required
• Basic computer skills and experience with Hemodynamic Monitoring. Required
• Use of a variety of equipment, including power injectors and various computers. Required
• Knowledge of all radiation safety QA. Required
• Knowledge of proper sterile procedure technique and infection control. Required

• Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) Required or
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required

• CCI equivalent. Required and
• Licensed in the State of Ohio Required and
• Certification of completion in a cardiovascular review course Preferred
