Responsibilities
About This Position
In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy the Radiologic Technologist II performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for specific radiographic procedures angiography or cardiac cath procedures CT or MRI procedures and or mammography procedures. Works unsupervised and demonstrates competence in all routine fluoroscopic and surgical x-ray procedures. Demonstrates ability to run the floor in the absence of the Diagnostic Supervisor (includes film QC organizing work assignments maintaining work flow throughout department and problem solving skills).
Qualifications
+ X-ray only with 5 or more years experience
+ Works unsupervised and demonstrates competence in all routine fluoroscopic and surgical x-ray procedures.
+ Or 2 years experience as Rad Tech and certified and/or competent in another imaging modality (CTMRI US Mammo NM Angio/Cath) must be willing to work in both modalities as needed.
+ Demonstrates ability to run the floor in the absence of the Diagnostic Supervisor (includes film QC organizing work assignments maintaining work flow throughout department and problem solving skills).
Pay Range
$43.42 - $52.73 /hour
