Radiology Tech - Diagnostic Imaging - Community Medical Center

Performs a variety of technical exams in the area of Radiology under the supervision of a Radiologist. Operates x-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies, and medications. Provides patient services using established positioning and technical factors. Maintains supplies and coordinates patient flow within the Radiology areas.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology course in an AMA approved school.
3. Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist and/or registry eligible.
4. Must be able to operate radiographic equipment in a safe and proper manner.
5. Registry eligible technologists will work under the direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist until the national registry is passed.
6. Must be BLS certified.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

1. Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist and/or registry eligible.
2. Active Basic Life Support Certification.
