Join Our Team as a Radiology Registered Veterinary Technician at Colorado Animal Specialty and Emergency (CASE)!
Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and looking to make a meaningful impact? CASE is seeking a dedicated Radiology Registered Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and skilled radiology team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring exceptional patient care while providing vital support to all hospital departments, doctors, and team members.
Compensation:
- $25 - $32 pending skills level assessment
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Monday - Thursday!
- Create impactful imaging reports – Work closely with our in-house radiologist to deliver high-quality, detailed imaging reports that help guide critical care decisions.
- Streamline radiology workflows – Ensure smooth and efficient operations by managing imaging requests, helping the team stay organized and focused.
- Master sedation and procedure support – Play a hands-on role in administering and monitoring sedation for ultrasounds, radiographs, and CT procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Specialize in imaging techniques – Become an expert in capturing precise orthopedic, thoracic, abdominal, and skull radiographs that aid in accurate diagnostics.
- Dive into advanced CT and MRI studies – Gain experience performing and assisting in cutting-edge imaging technologies, from CT scans to MRI studies, including RT setups.
- Elevate patient safety – Review patient records and identify biosecurity risks or special handling needs, ensuring both patient and staff safety.
- Enhance your anesthesia skills – Assist with routine anesthesia and recovery for select patients, playing a key role in their care and recovery (if applicable).
- Provide crucial vascular access – Utilize your skills in venipuncture, catheter placement, and maintenance to support the health and treatment of our patients.
