Job Description:
Work with a talented Imaging team that uses cutting edge technology and find that work/home/life balance! This part time position assists MRI Technologists in preparing patients for MRI examinations, starts IVs, assists the MRI team with the safety clearing process, and maintains patient workflow in a fast-paced diverse Level One Trauma Center. This position will work predominantly at the HealthPartners Neuroscience Center in mornings/early afternoons Monday through Friday with occasional evening/weekend/holiday rotations, and the potential to travel between imaging sites.
+ Greets and changes patients into appropriate attire for MRI.
+ Prepares room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on the table, putting the previous coil away, and changing the table sheet.
+ Assists patients on and off table when requested by the technologist.
+ Reviews paperwork to ensure it is complete.
+ Starts IVs.
+ Helps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to get off the table.
+ Ensures that all MRI patient areas, work areas, control areas, and MRI rooms are stocked and cleaned.
+ Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom, stocks linens, organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms, and empties laundry at the end of the night.
+ Maintain a healing and inviting environment.
Required Qualifications:
+ Completion of a standard one-year medical laboratory assistant training program, phlebotomy program, or equivalent (e.g., CMA, EMT, paramedic) OR one year of phlebotomy experience OR Associate degree or higher with two years of applicable direct patient care or health care experience, OR a successful completion of a radiology or ultrasound internship program.
+ BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Previous EMT, CT, or MRI experience.
+ Strong attention to detail.

Additional Information:
This is a non-union 0.5 FTE (50 hours per pay period) day shift position with call rotation working in St. Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $17.72-$26.58 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and eligible for benefits.
