We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining diagnostic images, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the proper functioning of radiology equipment. The Radiologic Technologist will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-ray examinations, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
2. Adhere to radiation safety measures and conduct patient screening procedures to ensure patient safety.
3. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort during the procedure.
4. Collaborate with radiologists to plan and implement patient treatment.
5. Maintain accurate patient records, including the type of procedure performed, the dosage of radiation used, and the results of the procedure.
6. Monitor the condition and performance of diagnostic imaging equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
2. Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in Radiography.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Proficient in radiology safety procedures and protocols.
5. Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to explain complex medical procedures in understandable terms.
6. Strong technical skills, with proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
9. Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift and move patients when necessary.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in a high-stress environment.
