Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Overview: As a Radiologic Technologist, you will provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various healthcare facilities, including skilled nursing facilities, prisons, and home health settings. This role involves performing and processing X-Rays, managing and transporting equipment, and ensuring clear communication with colleagues and clients. Key Responsibilities:
- X-Ray Procedures: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment; submit and transmit results to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Equipment Handling: Transport and unload portable X-Ray equipment from a company-provided vehicle to facilities as required by physicians. Ensure X-Rays are diagnostically accurate and technically competent.
- EKG Procedures: Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Documentation: Scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, following established protocols.
- Communication: Maintain regular, efficient, and professional communication with peers, management, the dispatch department, and clients.
Schedule and Shift Details:
- Part-Time: Friday and Saturday, with options for any shift, including 10 or 12-hour shifts.
- Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $28.00
- Shift Differential: $1.50/hour for shifts starting after 3pm.
- Relocation: Possible, discussed at interview.
- State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience: 1+ years in any of the following areas:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- Experience: 1+ years in any of the following areas:
- Echocardiogram (echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
- Certifications: Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licenses: Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
- Vaccination: Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination required.
Full Job Description:
- Role: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various facilities.
- Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment; transmit results to a Radiologist.
- Transport, unload, and set up X-Ray equipment in various facilities as directed by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform EKGs as needed and send results to Cardiologists.
- Daily scanning and processing of paperwork and billing documents according to protocol.
- Maintain professional communication with peers, management, dispatch, and clients.
- Maintain and manage vehicle and X-Ray equipment.

Physical Demands:
- Radiologic Technologists may need to push or pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. The use of vehicle ramps and pulleys can reduce this weight, but moving equipment within facilities or homes may require more effort. Up to 50 lbs of force or more may be exerted 16 to 24 times per day.
