Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) at The Staff Pad

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging examinations, providing exceptional care to patients while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.

- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal results.

- Ensure patient safety by following all safety protocols, including radiation protection measures.

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.

- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, including patient data, images, and equipment maintenance.

- Assist in the training and supervision of junior technologists and radiology students, if applicable.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is sanitized.

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Education:
      -Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Educational Program in Radiology Technology or a             College Degree Program.

  - Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.

  - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registry required.

  - Current State Licensure.

  - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or obtained within the first week of employment.
