- Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
- Estimate Pay: $45.41/hour.
- Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80-hours per year, occurring on day one.
- Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56-hours per year, occurring on day one.

Working Hours
The Radiologic Technologist will normally work from Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The Radiologic Technologist will not work more than 40 hours a week.
Summary of Duties
Provide Radiologic Technologist services, professional in nature, in a method commensurate with the local community and in accordance with Joint Commission (JC) standards and Bureau of Prison (BOP) policy; maintenance of Radiologic Technologist services performed on the machines, daily maintenance of equipment, perform Radiologic Technologist as ordered by provides in given timeframes, inform Contracting Officer Representative (COR) of all information pertaining to the services rendered, i.e., x-rays obtained, and reporting any problems arising in regard to x-ray services to the COR or his designee.
Qualifications
- Must have completed Radiologic Technologist program as an approved state program.
- Must have a Radiologic Technologist license (Registered) from the state of Connecticut.
- Certified as a Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
- Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified either by the American Red Cross (ARC)or the American Heart Association (AHA).

Attire
The contractor is expected to wear professional clothing while on duty (scrub uniforms are approved). The attire worn shall also be appropriate for the correctional environment in which the contract employee will be performing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently perform general imaging (X-Ray) of the head and body, including IVP, barium swallow, cystograms, fluoroscopy and operation of C-arm during surgical procedures.
- Independently perform all radiographic procedures, i.e., chest, bone, skull, spine, and portable x-rays, etc.
- Assist the physician and radiologist in complex and non-standard exams.
- Provide Radiologic Technologist services, professional in nature, in a method commensurate with the local community and in accordance with Joint Commission (JC) standards and Bureau of Prison (BOP) policy.
- Maintenance of Radiologic Technologist services performed on the machines, daily maintenance of equipment.
