Job Description:

This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatmentof various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic diagnostic radiographic examinations, including but not limited to chest, abdomen, and extremities.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
• Position patients correctly for imaging to ensure optimal image quality.
• Operate radiographic equipment effectively and safely.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist radiologists with image-guided procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification required within one year of graduation from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required (should not initiate patient contact until completed).
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot radiographic equipment.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Skills and Certifications:

• ARRT (required)
• BLS (required)
