About the Job
We are excited to extend an opportunity for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati. This is a permanent position with a lucrative $30,000 sign-on bonus payable in a lump sum after 90 days, contingent upon a 2-year commitment.

- Competitive Compensation: Hourly rate ranges from $28 - $35 based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations in various departments including OR, ER, house portables, routines, pain management, and fluoroscopy procedures.
- Ensure 95% of films are satisfactory as measured by repeat rate, adhering to the outlined procedures and accurate documentation.
- Work independently in diverse areas such as routine room, IVP, fluoroscopy, portable (C-arm and routine radiograph), and GU, performing all exams listed in the routine book.
- Protect patients and employees from unnecessary radiation by using diagnostic technical factors and appropriate shielding.
- Manage front desk operations, schedule exams, use centralized transport programs, and handle patient information in computer systems.
- Report equipment problems to the manager and Clinical Engineers, ensuring communication of issues to co-workers and managers as necessary.
- Assist Radiologic Technologist students and perform all operational duties including equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance, supply ordering, staff scheduling, and departmental audits.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in performing a variety of radiographic procedures independently.
- Strong understanding of radiation protection principles and practices.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of front desk operations.
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments and handle equipment problems efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate documentation of patient records.

Access to patient records is essential for conducting medical imaging operations. All designated personnel are responsible for ensuring confidentiality and protection of patient records, accessing only those pertinent to patient care or regulatory requirements.
