Radiologic Tech ( temp-to-hire) Addison & Western in Chicago (ARRT & IEMA)
Our client, a multi office nephrology practice that operates a vascular lab located at Addison & Western in Chicago, has an immediate need for a full-time Licensed Radiologic Tech. This would be a 35-40 hours per week position M -F. This position is critical in assisting the physician to perform minor surgeries to install ports in the arm or leg for the purposes of assisting in dialysis. The client is looking for someone with at least a couple years of recent and related work experience.

Some key elements of the position:
- Moves C-Arm equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment, as requested to obtain exceptional images
- Positions patient on procedure table and assists Physician
- Applies radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff
- Processes images to print and obtains high-quality images
- Ensures procedure room is cleaned following established standards
- Utilizes sterile technique and sets up of all procedure equipment
- Assists supervisor to maintain proper functioning and maintenance of all medical equipment, and inventory for all supplies
- Contacts service technicians or other maintenance personnel as necessary
- Places all equipment in appropriate space to maintain an orderly workspace
- Always maintains professional dress and decorum
- Observes all Universal Precautions as outlined in the OSHA policy and procedures manual(s)
Qualifications:
- A Certified Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Must have ARRT and IEMA Licenses.
- BLS Certified
You must be well organized; detail oriented and be able to multi-task with the ability to adjust quickly to a busy and fast paced work environment. All interested candidates must be available to start immediately.
