Our client is seeking an experienced and certified Radiation Therapist to join their team. If you're a skilled professional in delivering radiation therapy with a commitment to patient care, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and licensed by the state of New Mexico (or eligible for licensure)
• CPR certification required
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Knowledgeable of safety standards and operational methods of ionizing radiation equipment
• Ability to handle radiation sources safely

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate ionizing radiation equipment to treat neoplastic diseases and other therapeutic purposes
• Perform high-quality radiation therapy in line with protocols and under the guidance of Radiation Oncologists
• Prepare patients for treatments including simulations and fabrication of treatment devices
• Perform quality assurance on linear accelerators and CT simulators
• Record treatment delivery in the hospital and Radiation Oncology EMR systems
• Participate in on-call procedures as needed
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort
