Your Role as a Radiation Therapist:

• Radiation Therapy Administration: Administer ionizing radiation to treat various forms of cancer, ensuring precise delivery and adherence to treatment plans.
• Patient Care: Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining modern radiation therapy delivery and imaging systems.
• Knowledge and Skills: Apply your understanding of anatomy, physiology, oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and radiation safety to deliver optimal treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Successful completion of a radiation therapy training program.
  • R.T. (T) certification and maintenance of certification.
• Experience:
  • Experience in Radiation Oncology is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates at all levels of experience.
• Skills:
  • Working knowledge of radiation safety and current rules and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret and deliver treatments according to plans and protocols.
  • Experience with breath-hold, SRS, SBRT, superficial, and HDR techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Mosaiq is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly preferred.
