Summary:
The Radiation Safety Officer oversees the radiation safety program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves collaboration with the Department Director of Radiology and Medical Physicist to maintain safety for staff, patients, families, and visitors. A $12,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Education & Experience:

Master's Degree required.

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N) registered.

Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.

Certified Health Physicist with three years of radiation safety experience.

200 hours of training in radiation-related subjects.

Experience with I-131 therapy and emergency procedures.

Licensure:
Certified Health Physicist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiation Therapist licensure required.
