The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Research & Development Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Holly Springs, NC. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- The individual will provide analytical laboratory support of vaccine process and product development programs.
- Incumbent will support execution and development of laboratory assays in support of sa-mRNA development.
- Additionally, they will support projects to improve future growth through process improvements and use scientific knowledge to ensure studies are well designed, documented, and have clear, measurable benefits.
- The Scientific Technician should be able to work effectively within the group and across the site to collaborate as needed.
- Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop methods using HPLC/UPLC technology.
- Support analytical testing as necessary to support the sa-mRNA program (HPLC/UHPLC).
- Utilizes knowledge and experience with analytical techniques used in biopharmaceutical (i.e., vaccines) process development and GMP manufacturing.
- Uses scientific and statistical knowledge to support product, process and testing related investigations and deviations including complaint, deviation, OOE and OOS investigations that require support for development work.
- Authors and review protocols, reports, and laboratory notebook entries.
- Works closely with a cross-functional team to deliver necessary documentation.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
- Ensures all documentation are compliant with highest quality and regulatory standards.
- Partners with diverse team members from various functions, countries and members at various levels in the organization.
- Functions effectively as a core team member.
- Generates a supportive business case, and supports cross-functional teams to deliver those opportunities.
- Completes individual training and maintains a state of compliance.
- Adheres to all safety requirements.
- Supports communication/updates as required.
Qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD
- HPLC/UPLC experience
- Method development, validation, and/or qualification experince for liquid chromatography
- Preferred Skills: GMP/GLP, mRNA, LNP, capillary electrophoresis, plate-based assays, assay transfer…
Compensation: $25-35 an hour depending on experience
