R&D Technician - CNC Machinist - Ohm Systems, Inc

About the Job
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate prototype parts to the print within schedule using EDM, CNC lathes, and mills.
- Program EDM, CNC lathes, and Mills (CAM programming).
- Support R&D engineers and technicians to manufacture complex parts.
- Inspect the workpiece and check the dimensions.
- Use personal computers and CAM and Solidworks software.
- Use EDM wire and sinker machines.
- Comply with all the EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions.
- Run manual lathe and mill machines.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Perform shop floor housekeeping.
- Prepare daily production reports.
- Responsible for producing and maintaining high-level quality parts per print.
- Qualifications.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year’s experience working at the machine shop.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working at a machine shop in aerospace manufacturing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, and blue-print reading.
- Experience with EDM, CNC, and manual Lathes and Mill, CAD, and programming software.
- Experience in high-precision multi-axis machining and inspection.
