Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a R&D Engineer for a contract position in St. Paul, MN. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Understand internal and external requirements, facilitate team achieving deliverables on schedule, and drive recovery efforts when project impacted. Position Summary: Work with R&D Design project teams to develop and execute on plans to create, verify, and validate new technology, products, materials, processes, or equipment with minimal supervision. Foster a collaborative and communicative environment among team and cross-functional groups.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Work with R&D Design and cross-functional partners to generate and execute on project plans.
- Track, document, and communicate success criteria, dependencies, and work progress.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate issues as necessary to ensure success.
- Support technical work through change notices, materials management, etc.
- Facilitate SOP/WI compliance, design reviews, risk assessments, and verification/validation activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance.
- Help build a positive and engaged project culture.
- Identify and track the Design team's project budget needs.
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications
- 5 - 8 Years with BS, 3 - 6 Years with MS, 0 - 3 Years with PhD
- Strong MS Excel skills and knowledge of medical device requirements, change notices, and dFMEA required. Familiarity with task management systems (MS Project, Jira, Miro, etc.) a plus.
- Must be proactive and able to drive execution with a positive and supportive approach.

Salary
70 - 75 /hour
