The client is looking for a Associate System and Network Administrator to join our Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA. In this position, you'll contribute to a team responsible for the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.
This position is for 4th shift. Various shifts, nights, weekends, and alternate shifts may be required to support program objectives.

Communication, Decision making skills, analytical skills, process knowledge, along with the ability to influence others is highly desired. The System and Network Administrator Functions supports a 24/7 hour Test operation.
Position Responsibilities:
" Provides Factory Floor support to multiple Programs; defining & documenting Test setups, Deploying Test Software & Configurations, Troubleshooting, communicating/coordinating program requests, and supporting requests from the team to improve effectiveness, efficiency, productivity
" Develops, implements, and sustains tools that enable product security requirements
" Utilizes agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security statement of work
" Develops and enhances system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements
" Configures and ensures security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support
This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5) with Polygraph, formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
" Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
" Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
" Experience in certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) Server and Client
" Experience in Operating Systems: RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Windows, Cisco IOS
" 2+ years of experience with network devices including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
" 8570 Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, etc.)
" Experience with vulnerability scanning
" Experience in Cyber Security
" Experience in Satellite Test And STE Operations Readiness
" Experience with the following - NFS and CIFS network data, Networking, SAMBA, VPN's, Active Directory, LDAP, Firewalls, RAID storage, Backup methodologies, disaster recovery, HTTP/HTTPS (Apache and IIS), High level DBA skills (install, start stop, etc), SQL Server and MySQL, Ethernet and GPIB communications
" Active (ISC)2 Cybersecurity
