QuickBooks Accountant - Canary Closets

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare weekly & monthly financial statements through posting of financial transactions.
Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; etc.
Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations.
Work with our third-party on tax filing and account review.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Participate in calculating breakeven reports for sales offices.
Raising and paying invoices.
Communicate effectively with senior management.

Qualifications / Skills:

Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
Experience with creating financial statements.
Experience with general ledger, functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
Excellent accounting and administration skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
5 years plus experience as a bookkeeper and/or accountant.
QuickBooks: Extensive QuickBooks knowledge.
MS Office, Excel: 5 year’s experience and be proficient in using pivot tables to manipulate data.
