We are seeking a quantitative research analyst intern with extraordinary analytical skills and background who will participate in interesting research projects to further improve our investment process and/or contribute to our state-of-the-art research platform.

We are seeking a quantitative research analyst intern with extraordinary analytical skills and background who will participate in interesting research projects to further improve our investment process and/or contribute to our state-of-the-art research platform.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in research projects to test investment ideas to further improve our investment process.
- Understand the nature of the data and build investment hypotheses in collaboration with senior researchers.
- Write a code to convert raw data into properly treated data readily usable for signal construction.
- Construct potential investment signals and evaluate them following SE's research convention.
- Present results and lead the discussion in weekly SE research meeting.
Qualifications:
- MS/PhD candidate in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics or engineering.
- Great analytical skills with solid knowledge in statistics and machine learning.
- Strong problem solving capabilities with attention to details.
- Excellent programming skills with experience in Python or R.
- Interest in financial markets and quantitative investment.
