Quantitative Finance Application Developer, Private Capital Markets

Overview: Design and build financial applications, ensuring scalability and high performance. Contribute to the development of valuation models and frameworks for various asset classes. Implement automated tests to ensure financial functionality. Integrate new modeling techniques into existing analytics libraries.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with an experienced team to design and build financial applications.
• Develop scalable valuation models and frameworks for different asset classes.
• Define and implement automated tests for financial functionality.
• Integrate new modeling techniques into existing analytics libraries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of programming experience in C#, Python, or C/C++.
• BS/MS in quantitative finance, math, computer science, or engineering.
• Familiarity with modeling financial asset classes, preferably private equity and fixed income.
• Experience in asset valuation, risk analysis, or algorithm implementation.
• Understanding of market and modeling conventions for various asset classes.
• Object-oriented development experience.
• Ability to design, debug, test, and optimize financial algorithms effectively.
• Experience with SQL and relational DB design preferred.
• Ability to write understandable documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to program financial analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to abstract and document code.
• Experience working with large code bases in an enterprise environment preferred.
• Experience with version control systems like git or Azure DevOps appreciated.
• Interest in Financial Markets and Financial Analysis.
• Natural problem solver.
• Self-starting and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to explain complex concepts orally and in writing.
• Proactive in collaborating and sharing knowledge.
• Ability to focus on organizational goals.
