About the Job
Akkodis is seeking Quantitative Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid). Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing fixed income risk models, producing performance metrics, and ensuring the quality of analysis results for internal and external communication.
Rate Range: $80/hour to $86/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Quantitative Analyst job responsibilities include:
Maintaining and enhancing in-house fixed income risk models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Designing and producing model performance metrics and reports to communicate findings to internal model users and external supervisors.
Validating analysis results independently to ensure high-quality, actionable insights.
Supporting communication of model performance and results to various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Collaborating with teams to identify areas for model improvement and refinement based on data and feedback.
Ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards, contributing to risk management and decision-making processes.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Engineering.
5+ years of experience in quantitative modeling, with at least 3+ years focused on fixed income and market risk.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong hands-on experience in quantitative research and model development.
In-depth understanding of fixed income products, including treasury securities and mortgage-backed securities pricing, with knowledge of VaR modeling.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $86.00 per hour
