POSITION: System Test Technician (Quality Technician) II
FULLTIME: 12-Month Assignment
LOCATION: Maple Grove, MN
SCHEDULE:8AM-4:30PM
PAY RANGE: $25/HR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Systems Test Technician is a Quality Technician that directly supports medical device product development from concept through commercialization. This position will work with high-performance cross-functional sustaining team to ensure safety, quality and compliance of launched products while continuously improving their commercial value through end-of-life. This position will focus on hands on testing and assisting in test development to satisfy product requirements.
Responsibilities include:
• Actively promote and participate in a cross-functional teamwork environment.
• Support testing efforts to satisfy product requirements for design verification.
• Execution of testing per documented work instructions.
• Support Engineers in development and help to facilitate the execution of Design Validation and Verification activities.
• Perform various tasks to support test lab daily operations, such as lab organization, assisting in assembling equipment and fixturing, stocking lab supplies, and ordering equipment.
• Assisting in equipment tracking and organization.
• Perform tasks that assist in identifying, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
• Document results of testing thoroughly and accurately.
Minimum qualifications:
• Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems and a bias for action
• Hands-on approach to work
• Strong communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Desire to learn new skills
• Willingness to perform a wide variety of work tasks
• Experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications:
• 2 Year Technical Degree Preferred
• Previous experience running testing equipment
• 0-2 years of experience in quality, product development or related medical device / regulated industry experience
• Experience using Solid modeling (SolidWorks)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Use of computers and technology
