About the Job
The Quality Technician leads and supports activities related to the implementation, maintenance, control, and monitoring of quality systems and standards which monitor, assess, and approve the quality of materials and products at all stages of production, in accordance with corporate quality policies, applicable regulatory requirements, ISO requirements, and customer specifications/expectations. Under the general direction of the Regional Quality Manager with site support from the Operations Manager, the Quality Technician is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and facilitating quality system improvements. Quality systems that may be responsible for this position are receiving, in-process & final inspection/testing/release, product auditing, product certification, calibration, complaint handling, CAPA, and non-conforming material control/handling.

+ 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or construction with a focus on building products
+ 1–2 years in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
+ Must have knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, cGMP, and ISO 13485, as well as experience with quality systems and product/process lifecycle management in manufacturing.
+ Strong technical writing and investigative skills are necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project.
+ Training in Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is also required.
