QUALITY TECHNICIAN
The Panther Group has an immediate need for a Quality Technician in the Fort Wayne, IN area.

The Panther Group has an immediate need for a Quality Technician in the Fort Wayne, IN area.
Responsibilities:
- 4+ years experience in similar role.
- Specialized assignment focused on creating manufacturing work instructions and procedures, converting them from current instruction system.
- Complete assignments to improve manufacturing processes and procedures, based on LEAN assembly principles.
- Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for assembly, dis-assembly, soldering, component removal/installation, coating and otherwise preparing basic material, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods and operator effectiveness and comfort.
- Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
- Maintain compliance to all aspects of Safety, proactively maintain a safe working environment and comply with audits.
- Promote a culture of 100% quality.
- Provide direct feedback to build and design processes.
- Create, maintain, and improve work instructions (e.g., planning, AWI, OSOPs).
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Personal computer skills- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Production background/electronics background.
- Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a relevant field of specialization. (Electronics or manufacturing environment).
- Experience with CAD or other types of visual aids.
- Experience in creating detailed work instructions. Using an MES-type system.
- Technical certificate or College degree in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow Ticketing system a plus.
- Associates degree.
