The Quality Technician will assist the Quality Supervisor in developing and maintaining the Company’s Quality Management Systems to ensure all Quality System requirements, as well as Customer requirements, are met. Create Company Procedures and Work Instructions as needed, to implement quality control requirements. Maintain the Company’s Internal Audit Program and assess improvement initiatives resulting from all Quality Audits, both internal and external. Participate in Internal, Customer, and Registrar Quality Audits. Support Supplier Quality Management Audits. Create and distribute Monthly Global Quality Reports. Support the preparation and submission of Customer PPAPs and First Article Inspections. Assure the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials, components, and finished goods. Interpret product drawings to develop Control and Inspection Plans. Analyze both internal and external quality failure data and trends to determine the root cause and initiate corrective and preventive actions. Participate in the UL Listing Program to include: new product listings, annual sample submissions, updates, and maintains all UL Files, and to take a lead role in quarterly audits, responding to variations or quality issues as required. Maintain, calibrate, and document test equipment and fixtures as required by the Quality Management Systems. Maintain the company Document Control System.
Major Tasks, Accountabilities, and Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a manufacturing quality technician or similar position.
- ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus.
- Must possess strong skills in creating procedures to implement and to ensure we produce quality products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Able to work in a team and individually as needed.
- Shown ability to excel in a results-oriented, challenging environment.

Schedule:
- Full Time, in office (Chandler Blvd. and I-10 area)
- Day shift
- Monday to Thursday (5:30 am – 4:00 pm)
- Off on Fridays, Saturday’s & Sunday’s, most of the time.
Compensation:
- $20 -$22, an hour DOE
While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in an office and production plant environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The position involves sitting, talking, and hearing throughout the 9-10 hour shift. At times the employee may be exposed to airborne particulates, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations on the production floor. The noise level can be loud at times.
Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role is partially a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a step ladder as necessary during their shift.
