Quality Supervisor (On-Site - Oakland Park, FL)
Location: Oakland Park, FL
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Vaco is hiring a Quality Supervisor for a hard-good manufacturing company in Oakland Park, FL. In this role, you will ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company policies, manage product testing and inspections, and improve manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce quality and ISO9001 standards.
- Manage product validation, inspections, and First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Developand maintain quality systems for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Track performance metrics for manufacturing and inspection.
- Provide training and ensure adherence to quality management systems (QMS).
- Handle non-conforming products, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure product compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing with experience in quality control.
- Certifications: CQI or Quality Auditor (ASQ) preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, technical writing, and computer skills (MS Office).
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work with testing equipment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections.
