Quality Specialist - I (Assistant) at The Fountain Group

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Quality Specialist for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in Elkton, VA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Pay: $39.92/hour to start!

Shift: Rotating shifts; 6:30am – 6:30pm, 1:30pm – 10:30pm.

Assignment: 12-months – potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.

In this role you will:

• Carry out a variety of activities to support manufacturing operations becoming familiar with site processes, procedures, and policies as individual develops knowledge aligned with cGMPs and Health Authority regulations.
• Support the review and approval of qualification activities, change controls, batch records, auxiliary forms, investigations, procedures, and other quality related documentation.
• Support aseptic operations on shift, including auditing of classified (Grades A/B/C) areas which also includes getting certified for Grade A/B gowning.
• Perform quarantine functions and accountability reviews. Supports special projects as assigned.
• Follow cGMP and routinely makes decisions using cGMP/process knowledge.
• May work with customers to resolve problems and to satisfy quality and production needs.
• Follow site safety requirements.
• Author, review, and approve data/ documents such as methods, procedures, and/ or protocols.
• Perform all work and completes assignments in a timely manner and is an active member of 1 or more teams.
• Tracks/Reports metrics as needed. May provide training/ presentations as needed. May help with regulatory inspections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or related fields required.
• 1+ year experience required.
• Preferred skills: sterile environments, data analysis, lean six sigma, SAP, project management.
