Quality / Shipping Technician - American Elements

Position based in company’s corporate offices in Los Angeles (Westwood). The company maintains production and research operations in several U.S. locations and distributes worldwide. Customers include Apple, NASA, Space X, and Johnson & Johnson.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting in all aspects of shipping, receiving, and quality control testing. The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and speed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Day-to-day quality control of raw materials and finished goods

· Coordinate shipping and receiving of small-to-medium sized items

· Generate shipping documents including safety data sheets, airfreight declarations, and BOL’s

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

· B.S. degree and 1-2 years of experience in quality control or shipping/receiving

· Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, Domestic & INTL systems

· Dangerous Goods packaging/shipping experience a plus

· Able to lift objects 30-60lbs

· Attention to detail

· Quick learner, fast worker
