Responsibilities
Organize and coordinate quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.
+ Coordinate quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/performance measures.
+ Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.
+ Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources.
+ Develop detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.
Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
+ Quality Professional preferred.
+ Risk Management preferred.
Education:
+ High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Additional Preferences
Nursing experience strongly preferred
Previous hospital quality improvement experience strongly preferred
