As a Quality Manufacturing Engineer, you will have a proven track record of designing and improving quality program requirements, ensuring design drawings follow requested specifications from our clients, meeting our quality standards while working collaboratively with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams, and providing work direction to Technicians and Inspectors, as needed.

As a Quality Manufacturing Engineer, you will have a proven track record of designing and improving quality program requirements, ensuring design drawings follow requested specifications from our clients, meeting our quality standards while working collaboratively with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams, and providing work direction to Technicians and Inspectors, as needed.

Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer role:
- Update Design FMEA and manage risk with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to meet design and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and process improvements.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and enhance quality through preventive methods.
- Present quality reports and metrics to stakeholders.
- Maintain work instructions and quality documentation.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and material specifications.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes (e.g., cutting, welding, machining).
- Proficiency with dimensional inspection tools (e.g., calipers, laser systems).
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T) and risk analysis.
Requirements for the Quality Engineer role:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining/fabrication industries.
- Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or similar highly preferred
- Experience with ISO9001 environment
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder
