About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring that our products are produced to the highest standards. As a key leader in our organization, you’ll oversee quality assurance and manufacturing engineering functions, driving teams to success and pushing the envelope on quality improvement. In this exciting role, you’ll:
- Lead and inspire a team of talented engineers and technicians to maintain top-tier product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to tackle quality challenges head-on.
- Act as an internal auditor and audit coordinator to keep us on track and ahead of the game.
- Partner with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and drive product excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and support new product development (NPI).
- Meet targets and objectives as identified and communicated by Director of Operations.
- Proactively identifiy risks and proposes solutions in time to still meet budget and schedule.
- Help the company monitor and control inventory cost, quantity, and distribution.

Additioal Qualifcations:
• BSc/BA in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent. Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance and manufacturing engineering. At least 3 years in a managerial role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: In accordance with California law, the expected annual base salary range for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
