Are you a dynamic, results-oriented professional with a proven track record in Quality Management? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a leading manufacturing facility seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet our company standards and customer expectations. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach, with a keen eye for detail, and a passion for excellence. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
2. Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and reduce variability in our manufacturing processes.
3. Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve product and process nonconformities.
4. Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
5. Monitor and manage quality assurance activities related to machining processes.
6. Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
7. Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong business relationships.
8. Oversee the training of employees on quality standards and regulatory compliance.
9. Prepare and present quality reports and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Quality Management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
4. Proficient knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory compliance.
5. Proven experience in implementing Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Process Improvement methodologies.
6. Strong understanding of machining processes and their impact on product quality.
7. Excellent analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
8. Demonstrated ability to conduct quality audits and manage quality assurance activities.
9. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Quality Management software.
