About the Job
The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes within our manufacturing operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, in compliance with ISO 9000 and other relevant industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with QMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for quality improvements and cost reductions. Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality processes, audits, and corrective actions.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Five to ten years’ experience managing the QMS of a manufacturing facility
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and quality management systems.
- Proficient in the use of current PC software programs (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQM) is a plus.
Direct Hire
Up to $120k, negotiable based on experience
