Position Summary
The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's quality systems, processes, and standards. The role involves developing strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, enhancing product quality, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, etc.).
- Lead and manage internal and external audits, addressing findings and driving corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Develop quality metrics (KPIs) and monitor performance to ensure improvement goals are achieved.
- Implement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis to drive process improvement.
- Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Manage customer complaints, product nonconformities, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Prepare and deliver regular quality reports for senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in quality assurance/management in a manufacturing, production, or relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FDA, GMP, etc.).
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
- Proficiency with quality management systems (QMS) and software tools.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.
