QUALITY MANAGER
Dynomax, Inc is a family owned company that designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, sub-assemblies, and electrical components for the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee the Dynomax Metal Finishing Quality systems. This position will interface with all levels of the organization regarding customer requirements lead a team to support NADAP accreditation for Dynomax's Metal Finishing operations. Understanding metal finishing manufacturing processes, concepts of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and team work are critical to success in this position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee, maintain, and improve the company's NADCAP accredited Metal Finishing Quality System
- Works with document users (forms, work instructions, procedures) on improving current documentation
- Analyze and recommend appropriate changes of the system procedures to executive management
- Assures that Dynomax Metal Finishing documentation complies with respective standards
- Oversee and champion the Metal Finishing Root Cause and Corrective Action Investigations
- Oversee and champion the Metal Finishing Risk Management and Contract Review Processes
- Champion the Metal Finishing Internal audits by working with trained internal auditors
- Review of Engineering Process / Quality functions
- Ensure that process controls are compliant with standards and specifications
- Coordinate and administer third party quality audits, inclusive of schedules, communication, reports and tracking follow-up actions
- Establish department KPIs and metrics
- Report ongoing activities to Management and keep the company continuous improvement efforts on track
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of NADCAP auditing process
- Advanced knowledge of NADCAP quality systems
- Advanced knowledge of Aerospace industry quality processes
- Working knowledge of Metal Finishing processes, methods and techniques preferred
- Working knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing processes, methods and techniques preferred
