This role will be located at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility.

Role Overview:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality manufacturing processes to make sure the products produced meet quality standards and customers' expectations. The Quality Manager will implement, monitor, and improve the quality of the external parts business QMS and related operational processes and outputs. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a world-class AM team and impact the quality system and processes.

Responsibilities include the following:

Developing and implementing quality standards
Developing and implementing quality control system
Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
Collaborating with operations managers and engineers to develop and implement controls and improvements
Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations
Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes
Managing all personnel within the quality department
Managing all auditing activities. (Customers, 3^rd parties, certification organization, etc.)
Active team leader, engaging teammates in discussions on quality and improvements even in a time with no active quality escapes

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace, industrial, or mechanical engineering or relevant experience
10+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role in a manufacturing background
5+ years of management experience
Strong background with AS9100 and ISO9001 systems
ASQ certification preferred
Experience in the Aviation/Aerospace or Automotive industry
Experience with using QA software tools and processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
