Join our client in this direct hire tole as a Quality Manager. Int his role you will ensure the highest standards of quality for cutting-edge automated machinery. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead a dedicated quality team, implement innovative strategies, and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the Quality Department on the shop floor, overseeing a team of two inspectors
- Ensure quality standards are met across the entire roofing machine line
- Review and update existing quality processes and documentation
- Conduct comprehensive quality checks, including guarding, torque specifications, and alignment of components
- Perform root cause analysis when quality issues arise
- Oversee system-wide quality assurance rather than focusing on individual parts
- Analyze and interpret quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall product quality
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in quality management
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of welding and weld inspection (preferred)
- Green Belt or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
Salary: $75,000-95,000 (Dependent on experience)
