Position Overview:
The Quality Manager Is responsible for managing the quality inspector on the shop floor and inspecting products throughout our manufacturing facility using multiple methods per regulatory, customer, and internal requirements. Candidates for this role should have working knowledge of all the methods being used. The quality Manager will be responsible for helping detect the root causes of quality issues as well as keeping track of all quality documentation. The quality Manager must have applicable knowledge of all ASME Codes that pertain to pressure vessels. The quality manager must have the ability to train, coordinate, and communicate effectively with all departments and personnel.

Position Overview:

The quality Manager will be responsible for helping detect the root causes of quality issues as well as keeping track of all quality documentation. The quality Manager must have applicable knowledge of all ASME Codes that pertain to pressure vessels. The quality manager must have the ability to train, coordinate, and communicate effectively with all departments and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to monitor and evaluate product/service quality throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Safety and Engineering to identify quality issues, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure effective execution of quality initiatives and programs.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement efforts.
- Perform internal Testing, Internal checks and cosmetic inspections
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries, issues, and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Create and manage all Code Documentation Customer spec and ASME Code.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in ASME.
- 5 years of experience as a code welding, quality inspector or equivalent knowledge
- ASME Section VIII, B31.1 and API 1104 Code Knowledge required.
- At least LVL 1 Training in VT/PT/UT/MT and RT film Interpretation.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing quality programs and initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
