Title: Construction Management Quality Manager
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Remote/Hybrid/Onsite: Onsite,
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Represent Construction Quality interests in designated areas of responsibility Communicate corporate quality goals, policies and improvement initiatives from inception through effective implementation
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide assessments and support to leadership and management in area of responsibility regarding implementation and effectiveness of QMS
Review Client Report Cards to identify issues and successes with respect to customer satisfaction, and work with local leadership as required to improve areas of weakness
Promote our recognition of quality excellence through professional society presentations and organizational/committee memberships
Participate in review of guidelines, policies, procedures, selection and development of standards and practices
Work with the construction management team to implement quality improvements of services, operations and processes within areas of responsibility
Support QMS internal audits as required, including managing follow-up activities and oversight of corrective action planning
Provide guidance to construction management office regarding development/improvement of local quality processes
Function as a Quality advocate and resource for promoting quality culture and understanding requirements and intent
Evaluate and report level of engagement in pursuit of continued quality improvements
Monitor department losses to isolate causal factors of losses in excess of organizational goals
Perform other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar consulting industry, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Quality Management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Strong understanding of analytic processes.
Certification such as ASQ CMQ/OE (American Society for Quality Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence) or equivalent is preferred.
